Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered, 12-step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, pain, or addiction of any kind. It’s a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that control our lives - while celebrating God's healing power through a relationship with Jesus. Meetings are held every Monday at 7 pm in The Chapel, year-round. (If the church is closed due to a holiday, the meeting will be held off campus. Please check Facebook for details.)
If you have kids ages 5-12, they can participate in Celebration Place (see below) while you're in the meeting.
Celebration Place is the hope-filled children's companion group to Celebrate Recovery. It is open to all kids ages 5-12 whose parents or guardians are attending either Divorce Care, Grief Share, or Celebrate Recovery. In Celebration Place, kids can find the same hope and healing that their parents are getting, with an age appropriate curriculum that gives them language and experiences to understand what's happening in their homes, truths that help them avoid cycles of hurt, ways to draw close to Jesus during challenging times, and friendships with other children whose parents are taking the hard step of resolving their pain and moving forward in life.
Divorce Care is a loving, caring environment for those who are going through the difficulty of separation or divorce. Divorce Care is a 13-week program, but structured so that you can join in at any time during the session. Your kids ages 5-12 can participate in Celebration Place while you're attending Divorce Care.
If you have lost someone close to you, or know someone who has, please come to our Grief Share seminar/support group. Grief Share is a 13-week program, but structured so that you can join in at any time during the session. Your kids ages 5-12 can participate in Celebration Place while you're attending Grief Share.
Survivors of Sexual Abuse
This new support group is open to adult women (18+) who have experienced the trauma of sexual abuse - whether recently or many years ago in childhood. The group is a safe, confidential place to begin the road to healing. You are not alone and there is hope. Please email Kathy for more information.
The Deacons at Faith Church provide practical care when somebody in our church family is hurting. They are trained to come alongside individuals and families who are facing challenges such as job loss, medical crises, surgery, fire, unemployment or underemployment, and missionaries on home assignment. They provide support such as counseling, help creating a budget, or provision of practical and/or financial needs.
The goal of pastoral counseling is to bring restoration between people and God. We believe that the answers to life's questions can be found in God's Word. We offer a listening ear and a caring heart that will help you find answers to life's questions. To set up an appointment for counseling, please call the church office at 610-395-4731.
